On annual GST returns

MEMBER 161 writes in response to Member 154 about the supposed unavailability of annual GST returns until September 2012 - see 2012 TAXVINE No 28 (27 July 2012): "I refer to the letter from Member 154 regarding the annual GST returns. He was told that they would not be printed until September BUT I received one for one of my clients earlier this week - today is Friday, 27 July. The client is a partnership and it is definitely an Annual GST Return - says so at the top of the form. Maybe Member 154 should try again. We all know that every time you ask the ATO a question you get a different answer. Maybe he will get the correct answer this time. Thanks again for TAXVINE - we could not do without it." ...
