Financial Planning - the need grows
The last decade has seen a remarkable growth in new financial products. These include:
- New or varied types of unit trusts (such as mortgage trusts, international equity trusts and growth equity trusts)--
- Rollover products (the choice of investment options ranges from cash based to international equities);
- Technology and Bio-Technology Funds;
- Cash management trusts;
- Multi-purpose Superannuation and Managed Funds, including those offering investments across a number of countries and industry sectors; and
- Special Projects (e.g. Timber plantations, Property syndicates etc).
The choice of investment products is now seemingly endless, making the choice of an appropriate financial product far more difficult.
